Read About My Victory Over Acne and How This Acne Care Treatment Took Only Three Days

Acne effects about 85% of mainly teenagers to some degree or another. Fortunately for most it appears in the form of a few pimples or blackheads which clear away after a few days, only to re-appear temporarily again throughout adolescence.

For others acne skin conditions are far more severe, with some suffering acne all over their faces lasting several years from early adolescence through to early adulthood and sometimes beyond. Worst cases leave the person riddled with scars which stay with them throughout their lives.

So what is it exactly and is there an acne care treatment?

The Latin name is "Acne Vulgaris" from 'vulgar' meaning 'course' or 'offensive' which, being an ex-sufferer myself, pretty much sums up how I felt about it at the time.

It's mainly caused by hormonal imbalances, which is why it effects mostly teenagers while our bodies try to adjust themselves into a relatively 'balanced' adulthood. In most cases it effects the face, particularly the forehead but can also appear on the back, shoulders and chest.

There are a number of other causes as well, including genetics, stress, medication, excessive drug use and diet.

Diet is probably the one thing we can actively control, and many find oily foods, chocolate, partially skimmed milk and other dairy products such as cheese more likely to aggravate the acne condition.

This is because milk and milk products contain traces of cow hormones which can confuse the body's hormone balance mechanisms, especially in teenagers.

Its physical symptoms are brought about because of blockages in the hair follicles when dead skin and body oils are not excreted properly. This causes a build up of pressure and an inflammation in the surrounding glands, leading to either and open sore (blackhead) or a closed sore (whitehead).

For the vast majority of acne sufferers the physical symptoms of pimples and blackheads disappear forever, but the worst effects, the psychological effects, can last many years longer, even a lifetime.

Insecurity and a low self esteem throughout a persons formative years due to acne vulgaris is something which can and must be avoided. It often continues to be a prominent aspect of a persons personality for the rest of their lives. A stitch in time in this case, saves much more than nine.

For those of you reading this who do suffer from it yourselves don't despair, there is an acne cure for you out there somewhere.

There are many acne products to choose from, some natural and some man-made. I personally prefer natural products as there seems to be less chance of adverse effects such as digestive problems and a general feeling of being ill. So if this is for you or someone close to you I would choose something homeopathic.

The types of acne care treatments available include lotions, pills, light/laser, hormone treatment, anti-biotics and medicinal creams. The problem with all of these of course is you don't really know what you are doing to your body and the long term effects these kind of treatments may have.

In my case I got lucky. Maybe you will too. The program for me was completely natural and cleared it all up in just a few days. All it took was to know how.
