Body Acne Products - The Good, the Bad, and the Worthless

Breakouts stink, and my least favorite is back zits. When you just want your pimples gone NOW it can be hard to know what product to choose to make them go away.

Here are three tips that will help you choose a body acne treatment product that works.

#1. Think about whether the product is easy to use.

If you hate to use a product then you won't. So make sure that whatever treatment you buy is easy to use. Stay away from complicated difficult treatments that will only drive you crazy. Keep it simple to achieve the best results.

I think the easiest type of system to use is one that comes as a body wash. It is the least complicated and can just be used in the shower. If you use this with a mask to clear stubborn pimples, you should see great results.

#2. Look at the ingredients.

There are only two ingredients that are available in over the counter acne medicines that really make a big difference to cure body acne. Make sure the product that you choose has one of these two ingredients. That way, you will be using your money on something that works.

The two active ingredients that work are benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid. Salicylic acid is preferred because it works better, and because it is far less irritating.

Stay far away from products that don't contain these ingredients they don't usually work well.

#3. If all else fails get a dermatologist on your side.

If you use the two above tips to find a body acne treatment, you will most likely be successful, but some cases are particularly tough to treat. When that is the case, it is appropriate to hire a dermatologist.

Dermatologists have powerful prescription medicines that can wipe out even really tough acne.

Start enjoying clear skin right away!
